ELECTRICAL WIRING: All electrical wires must be either soldered or crimped, NOT twisted or taped together. Electrical wires can be routed through unconventional bolt holes ONLY as long as they have a rubber gasket (protecting from shorts).  

TIRES:     Recapped tires are NOT allowed on front wheels!!

Cracks on two or more adjacent grooves in tread of tire WILL PUT YOUR TRUCK OUT OF SERVICE.  Per OOS rule.

Vehicle can only have 20% bad tires out of 10 on tractor in order to stay on the road; any more than this, CHP will deem vehicle OOS.

Checks are conducted for accurate tire pressure on each tire as if tires are underinflated, they will notice and cite if vehicle is out of compliance.
